My parents faced numerous health challenges and Teresa was always there to offer encouragement and make sure that appropriate services were in place so that they had what they needed. She saw them through several crises. The fact that my parents knew that they could call Teresa at any time was a great comfort to them and to me. Looking back, I see that I too came to rely on Teresa and valued her professional input. I recall that there were many times when Teresa helped solve problems that seemed overwhelming at the time.
